| My vote by FAR is the Red Tail Hawk Lures. You cannot beat years of casting with the tried and true buck tail jig. I have had success with these lures on the beach, bridges, jetties and my boat. As we all know, it is so important to match the size of the lure with the size of the bait and that is why I love the fact that these are offered from 1/4 oz to 2.0 oz. I usually buy these at WalMart but now with gas prices I am buy online. I just bought some on eBay and stumbled on a site that shows all eBay prices for Red Tail Hawk Lures and other stuff

| fish4reds (3/31/2008) X-Rap run parallel to the mangroves.
Hey buddy are you talking about the smallest of the X-Rap lures? Because they dive pretty deep and could see them getting hung up on a lot of roots next to the mangroves! And, how close to the mangroves are you throwing them???

| The Red Tail Hawk is by far the best snook lure. Learn to fish them and you will never use anything else to catch slot size and larger fish.
