I tore up the flats last weekend with DOA Cal's. Three hours with thirty plus fish. The guys I went with are strictly live bait fisherman, but guess what my boat my rules and I do not spend time looking for bait when I could be catching fish. Within the first fifteen minutes they were hooked.

I would go with a 2 or 3 inch gulp shrimp with a 1/16 jighead, just because if you thro something to big at a school of reds it can sometimes spook them.

Just throw the gulp to the side of the school and let it sit on the bottom till one picks it up.

Fish to live,live to fish!
