try a spinner bait like the strike king redfish magic or posion spinner or a 1/4 or 1/2 oz gold or silver spoon allows you to work alot of area and to fish different depths to find were the fish are at once you find were the fish are at what deph they were at you can use what lures you like or live bait works well i always like to use lunker sauce on my lures to keep the fishing holding on to the bait and to put smell in the water.  another good way to cover alot of area is by using a poping rattling cork with either live or plastic shrimp or shad pinfish baits and fan cast from left to right retrive kind of fast at let the lure make some noise at first, then slow down the retrieve to normal this should produce something and you can see if there are any fish in the area.  if none of these works always try using a clear shrimp a natural as possible just drag on the bottom slow as death make sure to use a flurocarbon leader that is long enough for the water cleartiy and conditions.

i fish alot of backwaters in skeeter lagoon and i have found that yozuri pinns minnow works really good for baby tarpon and snook.  also try doa shrimp in the 1/4 oz.  the pinns minnow will catch everything that swims.
