lol...well if your using 65lb power pro what # test leader are you using??

cause your not gonna catch snook with a 65+# leader... scale down and use about 20# power pro and a 30 - 40# leader then you will get them to bite anything you throw at them... oh and make sure your using fluorocarbon..

lol i used like 40lbs-50lbs power pro, then i have a Tsunami Swim bait ( i prefer the chartreuse/silver 5" inches) with the swim bait i attach 80lbs monofilament LOL!! and attach that monofilament to the swimbait and a swivel. Works like a charm and usually i land 8/10 unless they are small and spit them out. But yeh you guys really should give it a try. I find these bait better then redhawk tails, windcheaters, doa , mirrodines.

Trust me they cost like $3.84 for a pack 4 they are awesome. But i use them off the rocks on the outgoing tide @ night. My rod is a 7 feet one piece inshore extreme with a shimano sustain 2500FB. With this bait i actually landed at most 5 in 1 night; my dad landed 3 mogans. But we fish at sebastian inlet so i dunno about you.

Buy like 2 packs give it a try and if you dont like it try some of the live baits, I personally use to love live bait till i use these. With live bait i had to bring a ton of stuff just for the bait to live so this bait is just my 2 cents.

Best regards,

Finally caught a snook today... But i lost a giant! I lost about a 15 pounder. He rolled on the line and i guess his gill plates slashed the line but it happens i guess but no less than 10 minutes later... I tied on a Zara Spook and a 5 lb hit, that one didnt get away. That hurricane that passed by really opened up the snook fishing in the canals in homestead or so i've heard so this weekend i'ma get on my yaks and see if i can pull through on some big linesiders

I only fish SI for snook actually. and yeah that pretty much explains it. when they are hungry it doesnt really matter what type of leader you use at night at SI. i saw a guy pull a snook up on a wire leader one time. but if your gonna be doing the beach fishing early morning then 80lb mono will not work. most of the times to get a beach snook to hit ive had to scale all the way down to 20lb fluoro. which you know doesnt work welll with big snook. LOL! Sebastian inlet at night during the summer time there are so many hungry snook that its kind of hard not to catch one, no matter what kind of rig your using
