| | here's an idea if you don't have alot of money go buy a used canoe and a cheap trolling motor. Clamp it to the back of it and get about 3 batteries and you can cruise everywhere. Best time to use it is at night go near your local docks and look for the snook when you see a bunch throw a DOA cal OR DOA shrimp and slowly retrieve it with a few tugs. I do this almost everynight and will catch tons of snook. Now if you cant get a canoe i recommend trying on some sort of dock or pier i really don't know much about land fishing. I'm all for the canoe idea. |

| Thanks M H Wicked has several good Idea`s there.....Dock`s at night, can be one of the best places to find Snook and Large Trout....DOA CAL`S and Shrimp,Mirrordine,Spoon`s,and even Top-Water can be very effictive You Might want to Down-Size your Rig just a bit....10lb PP should be plenty strong enough, with a 15 to 20 lb Leader....that will allow your Lures move through the water more Life-Like. Don`t be afraid to throw a Live Bait at em.........They Love Pin-Fish on the bottom, and there is a Shrimp-Run on right now,so a Jumbo Hand-Picked Shrimp is hard to go wrong with Remember,it`s Winter, and it can be a Chore to find them, much less getting them to eat,so Don`t give up.......Spring is right around the corner

| | JB, since you live in Clearwater, try fishing off the beach this spring and summer with a rootbeer terrorize. Make your casts parallel to the beach in the trough. Get there as early as possible. You can also use the mirrordine and cal's as well, but I've had the most luck with the rootbeer terrorize with a 1/4 oz. head. Good luck! Blair |

| | lol...well if your using 65lb power pro what # test leader are you using?? cause your not gonna catch snook with a 65+# leader... scale down and use about 20# power pro and a 30 - 40# leader then you will get them to bite anything you throw at them... oh and make sure your using fluorocarbon..

| | Cracker Do you fish the Sebastian Inlet? Lots of Snook there but too many *** holes . I like to fish without the pressure of back on backs. Lots of Big Snook in SI but I would rather fish the flats. |
