I think the Daiwa Coastal will fill the bill for you. For a bit more, the Garcia REVO Inshore is much nicer. The Shimano Curado has also done a very nice job. These are low profile reels

I bought my son a Diawa Coastal maybe a year ago, he uses it as his topwater rod on the skeeter lagoon.. no problems yet and many Reds landed.

Quantum's are not good reels fast corroding... try the abu garcia c3 and spool it with 40 lb test power pro... I catch my snook on it

I am a big fan of the team daiwa-x series. Great drag, can be thrown a mile and easy to pick up on ebay at a discount. Several different models in it too. Used to use for bass fishing but have had a lot of luck with redfish. Drag will take their runs and the free spool enables you to cast to far off tailers or cover more bank.

Shimano Curado casting reel cu200 right hand cu201 left hand. My buddy turned me on to this bate caster about 2 years ago. It was my first good bait caster. I still have it and its in excelent shape. I wouldn't buy anything else.

My vote would be the Daiwa Coastal as well. While I dont use my baitcasters as much anymore...(Im a kayaker), when standing or casting from a boat deck, they are hard to beat. My accuracy is much better as well, which comes from my old bass fishing days. The Coastal's price is in the range, it's durable, and infinitely tunable.
