| | Thanks, so much, Redfisher, for the tip about the Kids Fishing Clinic! I don't do "spur of the moment" real well, so by the time it hit the local commercials, it had been in my day planner for a LOOOOOOONG time! LOL The boys and I had a terriffic day together and even made some new friends. WTG, FWC, and sponsors!!!

| | Alex, the list is in Young Anglers, a couple of posts down from mine, where I reposted Redfishers post. I posted the whole list from the website with the phone numbers. You can call them and get the local point of contact number for your area. I'm sure they would welcome volunteers. All the kids need to bring are bottles of water, or whatever, and a slight attention span. LOL Lots of parents brought their own gear, for when we hit the water. They provided absolutely EVERYTHING for the kids!!

| | Alex, I feel your pain!! Mason has been trying soooo hard to find a job for months, with no luck. The job market for teenagers is really tight. Just keep at it but don't hound them until you tick them off! As far as school, just keep plugging away, and play to your strengths. Maybe you are heading for a career in marine biology or animal behavior, or forestry? Are you a sophomore? Junior? You might be better off applying to volunteer with a vet, zoo or even for the FWC, or some such. At the very least it will give you marketable job skills, while you aren't working anyway!
