| hey jus got back from a lil bass fishing from a pond down the street didnt do bad a 3# and a 4# bass on a rapala X rap not a bad lure first time using it

| Nice, GJ Anthony! Xraps, i use Crystal minnow from yo-zuri, i caught an 8lber......its like the 5# one you have, but with a bigger gut! and a lil longer....
What kinda baitcast setup do you have? im thinkin about getting one for lake and one for ocean

| | Nice Bass I tried on of those xraps recently in salt water, nice action and I caught fish on it, but I will tell ya this, be gentle with it, the metal eye that the split ring goes into can bend easily and if it moves the least little bit, the action is waaay off. I managed ot bend mine back and it works but not like it did out of the box. Then again, I did throw it into a tree, and ripped it out with my 10# power pro... oops

| DOA, take it easy on those baits! my crystal minnow, i bent the eye, and it makes it swim better, well the 8 lb bass says so!

| Hey fillet, how long is the Xrap? my crystal minnow is about 5 or 6 inches long.....How long is the Xrap? ive been thinking about using the xrap!

| i never had any probs with the lure and one one of my others it caught to bluefish over 10#s any it works fine maybe you got a defective one
and the saltwater model is like 4 3/4'' and the freshwater one is 3.5''

| im going to have to try this here lure for my lake, i only got an 8lber on my crystal minnow....ima get this for the bass instead of saltwater.....
but yall know me, ima try it when i go wadefishing!
Also Fillet, sorry for pestering you......but!
What kind of baitcaster rod and reel do you use? I like that one you got pictured......Im thinking about, well when i start to work, to get a baitcaster for the lake and use my spinning for the ocean, vis versa....
