| | It really depends on what you are looking to spend. The top of the line bows right now are as follows: Mathews Drenalin - about $900 Hoyt Vectrix, or Vulcan- $700 Bowtech Tribute - about $800 and various other PSE's, pearsons etc. I'd suggest staying with the top 3 for the top of the line bows. I however, shoot an old jennings custom, its about 13 yrs old and still shoots about 270fps, plenty fast enough, but nothing compared to the 300+ the top bows shoot now. But the main key is to get good with whatever you have, and stay within your comfort range when shooting at game. Let me know if i can be of anymore help. |

| Locate your Local Archery Shop, not only will they have New Bow`s,but most will also have Used Trade-In Bow`s at a lower cost Have them Mesure your Draw Length, from there they can start Tuning You in on several Styles of bow`s in your length........pick thm all up,and see what feels good in your hand, then look at the price tag.......Weight is a big factor, but you pay for the lighter bow`s. So all I can say is....pick up a Bow from the High,Mid,and Low Price Range to see the differance, then it simple math : Price< Useage = Bow
