The snook bite was on today.  Between me and my buddy, we caught seven.  One nice mangrove snapper too...  The day started off trollin' big plugs in the TB shipping channel to no avail...  That ended with the run to the SkyWay for bait.  One toss of the Calusa 10ftr brought in a couple hundred Threadies/SpanishDines mix.  We then threw around 60 or so into the livewell, and filled up a 5gal bucket 1/4 full w/ somemore for the chummin'...    We then headed back towards the SouthShore for some summertime snookin'!

Approaching one of our spots, we noticed several other boats had already beat us there.    Ugh...  Duh, it's 11am now, what do you expect?    Whaddya do; right?  So we motored around to find a good spot w/ ample distance from the others, dropped anchor, and staged up some chummin' action.  Pop!  Pop!  ~ Time to get a hook in the water!  There's fish here...

PS.  The snook are all over the sandy, current rippin' beaches.  EVERYWHERE.  One word: SHORELINE.  That's where ya'll need to look.  I personally like spoil islands...    Very nice time hightide today too.    That helped out alot.  ~too bad they're outta season...    But if you wanna catch em; they're there...

YesSir.  Indeed we did.  More catchin' than fishin' is always good in my book!
