| | My new skiff - the platform is much higher than my old one, it's probably 5'+ off the deck and yes I can see further out than ever before!!! When I'm up there I'm probably 12+ feet above the water. However, a good quality pair of sunglasses are an important part of being able to see into the water no matter how tall your platform is..... at least for clear water situations..... | I wouldn't mind having one on my 19' c/c any drawbacks to having 1 and who are some of the best vendors to get one from?

| About polling Platforms I am currentley rebuilding a boat and I am wanting to add a platform to in in the near furture and i am wondering where I can find one new or slightly used. I live in Florida between tampa and orlando in lakeland.

| http://www.fpmarine.com/ Check out this place they have a variety of poling platforms for cheap!! Real nice people over there I have bought several items from them.

| | As CrackerII said. You need room to get motor cover off and you don't want to hit the poling platform if you have a jackplate. |
