| | Memorial Weekend is here!! The unofficial beginning of summer means good things to those that fish. Tarpon are rollin’, snook are poppin’, redfish are tailin’ and Johnsonville sausages are grillin’! During these glorious festivities, let us remember the fallen soldiers that allow all of this to be possible. FLW Outdoors returns to Saltwater this weekend. The first leg in the Kingfish Series takes place in Sarasota, Florida and the teams are looking to cash in their kings for $100,000! FLW Outdoors airs each Sunday at 11am on FSN. And get ready for a brand new season of Addictive Fishing at noon starting July 2nd! That’s only 4 weeks away! Where’s the countdown clock? There’s 9 weeks until Mogan Mania V and it’s going to be here before you know it! If you haven’t signed up yet, you better hurry! The Mogan Man and the rest of the AF crew (including me) will be there for a fun filled fishing weekend with the Mogan Maniacs. Call the Dockside Inn @ 772.468.3555 and tell them you’re coming to Mogan Mania V. J.C.’s Favorite Forum Pick of the Week goes to Vlap’s Shore Lunch Heaven! Vlap shares his pictures and stories of a Johnsonville shore lunch with his fellow kayak-fishing buddies. Great post Vlap! I just hope that none of the sausages were wounded with that plastic fork while grilling! Don’t forget to read Blair’s Blog. The Mogan Man checks in with his weekly status report and from what I hear, the report is good! He’s been filming new AF shows in south Florida and catching some impressive fish. He and Tadd also fished the FLW Redfish in Titusville, Florida last weekend. They have moved up to #12 overall in the Eastern Division! Be careful out there this weekend. Most everyone has a 3-day weekend for Memorial Day and you can bet there’s going to be a lot of traffic on the water. When you’re packing up your fishing tackle and sun screen, don’t forget to pack your PFD (personal floatation device).
