I guess from me..lol...they are a special blend of superglue, orange sharpie, orange/pink grizzly hackle and floresent thread and bright orange calftail and the extra super ingredient is pink/orange edgebright...I am basically out of edgebright and cant find any...when I do I will whip up a few for you...hopefully in the very near future because I am down to 4 or 5 left myself

Let me know, i have a few redfish and snook patterns you may or may not be interested in as well. Either i will purchase them or we can work out some sort of fly swap!

I like the swap much better...will be tying here very soon and will let you know thru here...dont do much other fishing except bones/poon/permit but maybe if I had the right flys{yours} ...have been busy with startup of my DIY bonefish business...basically fishing from canoe/kayak/wading...took 2 different people last week...waiting for the sucky full moon tides to pass this week...I usually only fish at night for bones during the full moon

Sounds like a good excuse for a roadtrip from tampa. Where do you fish mostly? Biscayne? I am a bit of a novice caster though as i just picked up my 8wt a few weeks ago and prior only had the need for a 3-4wt and 10 ft max of line. I have been tying for a little while now though.

casting is critical to success for bones...from what I see the main problem that keeps everyone from being able to hookup if the inability to cast without hesitation...the real killer is false casting and nerves...I try to use only one if any at all...I try to load the rod during the backcast and shoot the taper from there...theres a fine line between squeezing in a tight cast and busting the school

and yes I fish biscayne bay but in miami and usually have miles of flats to myself...will probably be out there tomorrow dodging storms and attacking during the calm spells
