| | For some reason I've had areal tough time mastering the uni-uni knot when tying a leader to braid. How well would it work if I just tied a blood knot? Or can anyone give me some tips on tying the uni-uni knot? |

| | Make sure when your tying the uni-uni, you pull the braid down first. And that you tighten the knots good before you pull them together. Otherwise, the fluro will go right over the braid. |

| | Oh crap, I was going to pull up my pics of the one I easily tie... the modified albright, but I cannot access it so I found it here. http://www.fishing-tackle-repair.com/images/albright-knot.jpg For 10# or lighter braid line, you will have to double your braided line tightly over itself to give it more thickness or else the knot may very well not hold. Doubling the braid means you also only have to make 9 twists, this thang is easy.

| We have been using power pro for many years now. With much practice and time, we have learned that the double surgeons knot works just as well as all the other hard ones. I know some purists think you have to be a knot expert and tie all these fancy knots, but you don't. Try using a double surgeons and you be amazed at how easy, quick, strong and clean it is.

| | WOW!!! MY LOGIN WORKED!!!!!! I use a triple surgeon's knot as well. I'm using 10# PP w/20 or 30 lb mono leader and have NEVER had this knot fail! It's quick, easy and effective!

| | Heeeeeeeeeyyy!!! Sharon. I knew something was missing but I could not put my finger on it. Gee with all these surgeons knot lovers goin around, yall makin me think I am spending too much time tying and not enough time fishing. How well again does this go through rod guides? or do you tie a short enough leader to where you do not have to reel it into the rod guides?
