| Whats up HOSS,with the change-over to this Forum,I can`t remember if you are from the Cocoa area or here in O-Town,but I know your close Sis lives just outside the little town of Blakely,Ga.......about 70 miles North of Tall. on Hwy27....very near the Chatahoochee River Bro-In-Law let Georgia Paper come in with Planted Pines some time ago,so all the fields are now Planted Pines, with Hardwood Creek Bottom`s running all through the property. He kept two fields...one he lets the Buck-Brush grow...good for Bedding Area`s for Deer, and good for Quail and Dove ....the other he plant`s Pee`s and Broad Leaf Green`s{200yrd by 100yrd FOOD-PLOT} .......Load`s of Turkey in the Creek-Bottom`s......Corn Field`s on both sides of the Property and he only lets family hunt this property,so it get`s very little pressure Here I mostly hunt Bull Creek WMA,but have been looking into a few other area`s around here to start working. Would love to find a POO-BOY Club here in Fla,but all the one`s I`ve found either Run Dog`s or have 20 hunter`s per Achor ....and the Real Club`s around here will cost ya a few Grand to get into,if you find an opening So Hoss, where in Ga do you go to ? How do you like that Browning ? I love my Ambush, but I wish I went with a Split-Limb,but other than that, she`s a real Hammer

| Well, Cracker the most important ? is money, well there is no money involved because an old lady owns the land and gave permission to the caretaker to bring out some friends and they could hunt my dad grew up with the caretaker so kinda like an uncle to me. Just let me confirm it with the caretaker and see what he says> never said no before and he would rather see it hunted. We have no hogs and in the past couple of yeas haven't seen but 3 bears, i never see their tracks either probly cause lots of homes like 6 miles away. We have a fair amount of turkeys, shot one with a 12 gage while deer hunting last year Good ole Buck Shot Most of your shots are under 35 yds because of the dense cover great sypruse swamp in 2 parts of the land. Ill see if i still got an arial photo and put it up. Anywayz ill give you an answer as soon as i get 1.
Live every day like its your last (and that day should be spent fishing) |

| OMG ! I didnt think anything like that still exsisted. The last time I checked into a formal lease , it was 1200 dollars a head and so many rules that I wouldnt have joined if I did have the money, such as ..you HAD to take 2 does before you could get a buck ...he problem is , there were very few of either, and the ones that were there , I wouldnt have harvested because of their size I have a cousin in West Virginia that has 157 acres of mountain property that is LOADED with deer, but I just dont want to call and ask him to hunt it when I havent seen or talked to him in 10 years..lol

| It`s a shock to me as well Kracker, after looking for year`s for a low dollar hunting area around here,I`ve pretty much given up and gave in to Public Land Hunting thing, witch is not bad once you except the fact that there WILL BE load`s of people hunting with you,and let them do the work for ya........Hang a stand near the Parking Area, and let everyone flush them out as they go through.....like a bunch of Bird-Dog`s Give me a holler when you find out Danger Dan,don`t sweat it if they say no,I`ll understand.......Just let them know I have a Chain-Saw,Fence Plier`s,and a 4x4,and don`t mind working to earn my keep....just give me a holler either way .......And Thank You for even asking for me
