G- Loomis are great rods.  I particularly like my Greenwaters for Florida, but I use them in New Jersey for plugging Striped Bass.

yah i already had a gl2 and loved it and now i got the glx with is night and day.. its lighter, smoother, RECOIL guides ands a better blank....i was going to get the greenwater but the 7 foot model has a larger cork handle which i dont think looks very good with the small 2500 sustain
