That's the idea! Hone your skills...get good...enter tournaments and make a name for yourself...THEN start looking for sponsors!

I would suggest that you concentrate on your education. Learn how to properly put together a letter and you'll have a much better shot at a sponsorship and help with anything else you might need.

Just like fishing... presentation is EVERYTHING!!

ya bro ditto trootin aint no way u gonna get a sponsor of any kind for recreational fishing....you have to fish tourneys and win relatively often or at least take top 5 trust me bro jus keep doin wat ur doin

There are several people on this forum that will be a great help to you in your fishing but the more you abuse the forums like this, the less those people will want to help you.

That being said, I am trying to help you, but eventually if this keeps up I will just refuse to look at any thread you post because you are not respecting this forum nor people trying to help you.

generally you need to win some tournaments if you expect to get sponsored. Manufacturers sponsor people to get the publicity. You have to be able to do that by getting in front of cameras, or be in a position to get their name seen in a way it would mean something to others.

mmmmmmmmm i have no clue how to get sponsered but idk if ur gunna get sponsered to do recreational fishin'......in fact i kinda doubt it but maybe u and ur dad could get in some offshore tournements and get attention that way.....and why can't you drive a boat yet i got my first boat when i was 12 it was a sears jon baot with a montegomery ward outbaord and a lil minnkota on the front it leaked like krazy but it got er done......

fish and have fun since i can not drive a boat yet i fish doaks and bridge. my dad take me like 30 miles out and we fish their. but mainly inshore not on a boat.
