Don't worry about it kiddo, by the time I am done with ya, you won't need to use animal food to attract bait. The bait you will catch fish on comes in packs. The journey has begun.

Yes you can,just go look at one in the store,you can probly make one with what you have around the house,but may I suggest a Cast Net.....just a Cheap Wal-Mart brand will do;)

well since trootin hasnt said it yet im gonna say it....get yoself some gulp shrimp and catch some fish....but fo the snappas ur gonna prolly have to go live if u dont want ur arties chewed to pieces and if u have used the doa shrimp, either u aint workin it right or there arent many fish there cause i have caught a butload of fish on those

Details like water depth, sand/mud bottom, lot of bait around, etc etc. Live bait will almost always be your best bet, but artis or more fun. If you really wanna catch something, just chuck a live shrimp out there and let it sit. Something will eat it. But if you want a challenge, try to get the fish to eat plastic.

Sometimes live is better, sometimes arti is better.

It depends on.....time of day, moon phases, tide, water temp, air temp, barometric pressure, what species of fish, water clarity, where you are fishing, what bait is in the area at the time, what you prefer to use, what the fish are in the mood for, how you work the lure, how you present the live bait, the wind, your line, your leader, your hook, other tackle, if you are holding your mouth right etc etc etc you get the idea

It also depends on who you ask. I love arties and trully can do better on them than live bait. Live bait of course seems like the best shot at a fish but that is not always true.

So all in all you just gotta try something, but I will say this, "IF YOU TRY TO DO EVERYTHING, YOU WILL TRULLY BE GOOD AT NOTHING."

ok thx u know any other lure that is good? i like to also catch flounder,snapper. is my best bet live bait or a lure. if a lure wht,lure???

If u haven't caught any snook on the doa shrimp then their is probably no snook where ur fishin' not gunna lie.......but u keep throwin' that shrimp and good things will happen.....

wht details i fish off a dock and i like to catch flounder. i have never caught a snook tho. soo i want to catch no. but in general i waht a good lure. i ahve tried the doa shrimp but have never cuaght anything with it so...
