I have it networked with a Garmin 340C and my VHF. Its a wonderful thing. They are easy to use, great displays and with the 178 you won't have the problem with space I have with 2 different displays. You will HAVE to buy the bluechart. Its $150.00 well spent. Every marker, grass flats, depth contours, public wrecks etc.

RE: Garmin 178c

Sure do my friend! Excellent combo! I had one for about 5 months. It was super easy to use and has tons of features!!! The only, and I mean the only reason I sold it was because I wanted a larger screen that I could see when I had it in split screen and navigate through the pages and functions while I was running in the boat. I also wanted a unit that had XM satellite weather and XM satellite radio so I bought the new Garmin 3210 package. Just to say again; You can't go wrong with a 178C!!!

RE: Garmin 178c

I have the Garmin 168 gps/depth finder combo and LOVE it , it is easy to use, loaded with features, and durable ..mine never comes off my boat.
