I paddled up to a couple of guys fishing in a johnboat and asked them if they wanted to buy it for cheap. one guy looked at it and told me he would be interested if it was a Stratic. He and that reel were made for each other so I just gave it to him.

RE: Shimano Sustain

no lie sustains are way cool and a great piece of equipment my buddy has one...i don't spend that much money on a reels though and before you do take a look at the Peens new AF sereis i have an AF 4000 and it's off the chain cool about a 100 bucks and is way smooth and powerful and it's Peen so you no it will outlive any reel out there.............

RE: Shimano Sustain

i wouldnt go that far but there deffentily worth the money

RE: Shimano Sustain

dude most def get a sustain they are probably one of the sweetest reels you will ever use. I have had less problems with this reel than I have any others. Some would argue however that for the price, you can get better reels or that you can get better okuma reels for less price. </STRONG>

Shimano Sustain

I am really wanting to buy a shimano sustain and I am wondering if it is worth it?
