The name of the rod is Evolution made by Lipper tools, Inc. They are made of a neo-carbon, they say a revolutionary new material comprised of high quality graphite and a space-age bonding agent. Looks like they have both an inshore model and an offshore one. They make two lengths 6'6" and 7' and run $100.00/ea. So if your friend has one how heavy are they? Cosmetically the do look a whole lot better than an ugly stick and cost a whole lot more.

LipperTools?

My friend has a lipper rod and it seems very nice, but are they really that nice? Are they "unbreakable"? If anyone has any info on these rods, please let me know, thanks

Practice CPR (Catch-Photo-Release)
