Thats a shame.

Your motor has more then likely been sold already. It could be in a pawn shop also.

There have be cases where motor thiefs cut off the transom of a boat to get the motor. The best thing is not to let you boat be too visable or easy to get at. There are alarms you can get also.

My neighbor used 5200 on his Gheenoe. You will have to take the transom if you want his motor.

well i would've been on here to post a report except for when i woke up this morning to go fishing, I found my boat, but no motor.!:w00t: Some A**hole had come in my yard in the middle of the night with a hacksaw cut the bolts and the lock and took my motor. A fishermans worst nightmare come true. Better yet I've only had the motor for 2 months, a brand new yamaha 2stroke 25hp and I just sold my old motor. What luck. I'm assuming some kids out to make a quick buck, cause they didn't touch the trolling motor, batteries, or pushpole. This happened in the mims area any info leading to the motor can be rewarded. Thanks everone. If anyone plans on fishing over this way in the NIRL or ML and needs a partner let me know. I doubt I'll find it anytime too soon, and keep your gear put away with the economy like it is, it seems theft is only going to get worst.
