If they're to close the reels will rub against one another or site awkward and bounce around in the rod holder. My advice is to buy some singles and mount one, stick a rod in it and hold another with a rod in it and move it around till you get a good spacing and no touching. If the reels are bouncing off one another during transport you will eventually have paint chipped and possibly mechanical problems down the road.

Rod Racks

I'm looking for a rod rack thats compact for a small center console but that fits more than 3 rods.. what I mean is like the everyday plastic rod racks just with the holders tighter together so more fit with the same space. I'm trying to fit as many rods as possible with limited space. So If anyone knows where I would be able to find one of these plastic or stainless steel please let me know.

"Work Hard, Play Harder":w00t:
