I hate seeing anyone get into trouble,but lets face it,these are not KID`S,yes they are young,but they are driving a truck,with what I say is an Un-Safe way to haul Two Boat`s....So they understand about Rules and Reg`s,and even if someone tells you to Sneak It Out,they knew it was Illeagle,thats why the Pic`s were taken at the House,and not by the water.....and then Brag about it on an Open Forum like My Space{ witch I Dispize anyway } is like a Big Slap In The Face to all of us !

Like I said,I`d hate seeing anyone go to Jail over this,but something has to be done .........A Fine for sure,big enough so they have to sell thier boat`s to pay for it......but also have them stand at a busy Boat Ramp,with a big sign saying :

I AM A THIEF !!!!!!

I stole an Oversized Redfish,got caught,Please tell me what you think about that !!!!!!!

And let them listen to all the Angler`s that use that ramp,and get thier opinion of a Fish Thief ;)

I agree. I have posted his pics on many forums and contacted all computer guru's to trace this young man down. It shouldn't be long but the computer guru's aren't fishermen and don't understand the reason we need to teach a lesson here. Capt. I'm not on Myspace but if you copy/paste this thread and send it to him, he may do the right thing and turn himself in. He will not get the humiliation of the law showing up at his house and he may get off with a warning pleading ignorance...

So what your saying is: Because everybody does it its ok. BS I would give these kids the benefit of the doubt and say they didnt know what they were doing , but they need to know how important that fish is and why it is illegal to keep it. I wrote J.Young a message on Myspace and he now knows the legal slot limit for redfish. I hope he doesnt make the same mistake again but if he does I hope it costs him.

I know these kids... i used to see them fishing at mathers bridge all the time. and im almost certain thats where they caught that red. but if your gonna get these kids in trouble its not really fair cause 1st reason i saw them take home a oversized red one time cause some guy told them to throw it in the truck and leave before the cops got there... the kid wasnt sure if he should have kept it or not but the guy persuaded him too. and the second reason is almost every person except myself keeps big redfish from mathers bridge. im not really the type of person to get involved in what those people do. you don't know how many 40+ inchers ive seen takin from that bridge. thats one of the reasons why i don't fish there anymore. i have talked to the police about patrolling the bridge more often but they say they have more important things to do and to talk to the FWC about it.

these guys straight up killing lunkers..its just wrong..besides i wonder how many worms they found on that fillet..its just not even worth it in the end to the fish, our ecosystem, or the guy eating it..i think he needs to be taught a lesson..:angry:

Those pictures are of the same fish look at the spot on the tail. These kids need to be taught a lesson, No reason why they should kill it for a dumb picture. And I agree the street sign across the street should be able to give u something if zoomed in.

I dont' think those are the same fish. In the second pic, the Red looks longer than the first. That's jacked up for real. I hope these guys haven't done this for awhile. Killen our trophy.

The "Boss" (Becca), tried to enhance the numbers on the Ghenoe with no luck, gotta be a CSI or something to do that I guess. So she went another route and reported them to Myspace. She included this AF forum link and the slot limit/sizes and the FWC 24 hour number. Hopefully Myspace will follow up on this seeing how there is a nice little fine to go with that redfish. All we can do is hope for the best and the right people to get a hold of the info.

man ppl, like that don't know what they r doing. i mean yeah, i wish i could keep one without harming the population like lousiana, but they got the slots in place for a reason and thats to protect our fishing resources. like the same with snook, ppl keep under slot and over all the time, these slots r there to bring the fish populations up so u can still bring them home. ppl who do that need to think, or get a nice fine.

What the hell are they thinking. I wish "the man" was waiting at the ramp when they loaded up to head home. One day they'll get what's coming to them. $500 fine per fish if I'm not mistaken.

This was on myspace, it's a couple local's here in Brevard County. It seems they like to kill breeder fish.... who need to be stopped before more breeders are killed...
