You might also want to check out www.customgheenoe.com and visit their forum. Those folks are serious with the Gheenoe ideas. Very impressive what some have done to their boats.

Me and Garry use to own one. We used one of those portable toilet stands (without the seat of course). He screwed an old cutting board on the top and even spray painted it to match. It worked like a charm.

Gheenoe ideas?

I have a 79 13' gheenoe with a 9.9 evinrude and trailer and i just recently purchased a bigger boat for fishing because the gheenoe just wasnt working for me, and i was planning on selling it but now i was thinking of maybe just selling the trailer and the motor and keeping the boat n just using a trolling motor and throw it in the back of the truck. also i could use my push pole from larger boat for the gheenoe. I am just trying to think of some ideas or opions on homemade decking this gheenoe out. Im thinkin a small type of platform on the back because i think a poling platform just mite be to much. also what i should do for the front, its just got a seat kind of like a canoe where there is feet room infront of it. any ideas anyone? im pretty open minded
