I wanted to answer the Left and right eyed flounder Question.
We all know that when a flat fish is born with a body type in balanced symmetry, in other words looking like normal fish. As they continue to grow, their eyes and month are on one side of their body. The summer time fish is called a Fluke and is the left eyed fish and the winter fish is called the Flounder the right eyed fish. The Fluke has a larger mouth and bigger teeth, while the Flounder's have the smaller month's and smaller teeth. The average flounder weights about 1.5 lbs. but the larger fish may reach 5 lbs. the average Fluke weights between 2 and 6 lbs. and can grow to as much as 20 lbs. The Fluke can live up to 20 yrs. On the other hand, 14 yrs. is the average life span of female Flounder and 12 yrs. is normal for male flounder. And that's the skinny on the flat fish. And the pun was intened. Thank's for reading..

New AF shows start this week!

All new shows start this week on Sportsman Channel HD and SunSports Network HD. In-charged of imposing this policy is the Interagency Ocean Policy Task Force which still hasn't issued its final report on zoning uses of these waters. Reading this, I'm a bit sad like seeing my newly purchased trolling motor which I'm about to use this weekend for a fishing trip with friends. Looking back to the zoning issue, I prefer to be discreet like we need to be environmentally concerned nowadays especially with our water/marine resources. How about you guys? I love to fish. She thinks fishing ok but not crazy about it. I am wanting to take her on a charter so that she can catch something with some size to it. Maybe that will help her see how much fun fishing is.

My question is: Are there any charters out there that dont cost $350-$700. All the ones that I have been able to find are pretty expensive. Most are for up to 5 anglers but i am not taking 5 people. It would be just her and myself. Anyone know of any affordable charters out there? As of right now we are debating going to sebastian inlet or Down to the Keys. Thanks for the help

charlotte harbor Trout show

This has to be the most boring show he has ever done. :( It's was a great commercial though.

bay craft boats

anyone have any information regarding this company and there boats esp the 185 flats edition say vs the 184 ghost.

thanks

Mogan Mania X

It's that time again to start planning for the coolest shindig on the water this summer.
