I've had success with decent trout the last few times out. Haven't been out early morning but the topwater bite has been fun as dusk closes in. I'll see if I can remember my camera next time, dang thing jumps out of my bag before the good trips.
Capt. Blair and I got on several good schools of reds on the 27th, they're just a little out of range for my gheenoe.

Woooohoooo.... the fish bite is on in the Banana River. This one measured in at 26.999999 inches. Wasn't fat enough for a tournament winner, but she sure was tasty!

There ARE fish in the Banana River.... of course out of the 80 or so fish I saw on Saturday and Sunday (Snook Reds and Trout). I still didn't manage to catch one..... my partner did however get 2 in the slot. This one being 25 inches. Caught on a 5 foot ugly stick with a Stradic 1000.

Way to keep the skunk off the boat, John!

Banana River???

I fish the Banana River several times a week and after a few boat repairs, I've finally been able to get out again.

Someone comfort me and tell me they are catching fish there, coz I've been getting regularly skunked lately. I'm not even seeing any fish.
