The thing I like the most about shallow grouper is they don't give up. They are mean all the way up! :)

It's just not the same when they blow up from the pressure difference... About halfway up in deep water the fight turns into a half-hearted tug of war.

A box of fish like that and you won't need to make another trip for a little while. ;)

I went offshore with some guys that I met on the forums Sunday. We fished a secret wreck that our Capt. Sam had the #'s to. In less than 50' of water we pulled gags up one after the other.
