here is a picture of the latest addition and a family of birds that decided the ferns hanging on the front porch looked like a good spot to raise their young......

Don't know where that speckled egg came from, but it disappeared a day after this pic was taken.

I believe many of you have already seen Roxie in some of our boat pics since we can't seem to keep her away from the boat. All I have to do is put on some sun screen, and as soon as she smells it, shes up and dancing around....ready to go. Unlike Mogan, Roxie HAS been on a diet and as of her visit to the vet last Friday, had lost 25 lbs and is now a trim 115 lbs!!!

This is Booger, currently 18 years old (human years) and was my first pet after leaving my parents house.

This is Milo, he is 16 and the friendliest cat I have ever encountered (possibly 'cause I saved him from the 'pound'??) And still a kitten at heart......

We also have a 10 week old kitten that we are "kitten sitting" for Lindas grown daughters until they get an apt. that will accept pets, I will have to post a pic of him once I finally upload my latest batch of pics to the computer.

Roxie ( not to be mistaken for Chumhead's Roxie! ) just defies logic. I'll tell you her story, I'll tell you her breeds, then I'll let you form the visual yourself!

Roxie came to us through a neighbor who did volunteer work with a rescue group. She heard about Roxanne through the grapevine and HAD to have her!!! She brought her home and we all fell in love with her, although my husband teased her mercilessly over her 2-colored eyes, one of which is a lazy eye (the cad!). Roxie settled in well with my friend's other dog and cat... then the baby started crawling! :crazy:

After much knashing of teeth and fearfull cowering under very low places by Roxie, the decision was made that, in her own best interest, Roxie would come to live with us, lazy eye and all. The baby just found her tail WAYYYYY too wonderful! We've had her ever since. It's been about 4-5 years, I think.

Oh yeah...did I mention...she is a Pappilon/American Eskimo? :hehe: :D

Last, but certainly never least, is my bodyguard, Comet...

Comet came to me, starving. He was wandering around my convenience store emaciated and so flea-bitten that his skin looked like leather. You can see the result after 3 years of TLC.

Hey Flats Kracker, I have been going down to the bottom of the page that opens when you are typing a post and click the button (EDIT ATTATCHMENTS).

Then once it is downloaded, you can open it, copy the address that shows in the address bar of the pic window, paste that in the text area of your post, hilight it then go over to IF Code Shortcuts which appears to the left of where you are typing your message, and click on [img]. It will put image brackets arounf the code and then when you submit your post, the image will automatically open. There may be an easier way but this is how I do it.

However you can also still upload pics on any other picture processing website like www.forumpictureprocessor.com or www.myfishingpictures.com for free! Then just post the image code those websites give you once the image is uploaded and then past it in the text box of your post.

Hee hee, my mom handles the feeding and although she says she has him on a diet, I think here little alterations of the diet food are defeating the porpose.

I cannot get him in the gym, he says he is to nervouse that people will be staring at him;)

This is Meesha… she is odd. Sweet but with a mean streak. She is fine as long as you do not hold her, pet her in the wrong place, pet her too much, look at her wrong, breath wrong, blink wrong… you get the idea.

Here is boots, she is very very calm and sweet, as you can see, she only has one eye. Her other got infected so the vet said we should remove the eye or put her to sleep… so now she has one eye. This cat watched me grow up.

hehe...I hear ya, MF. I hate the name Caesar, but it really fits. It's the male version of Diva, I suppose. He is VERY friendly, to the point of KNOWING he has the right to be anywhere and do anything he wants! I have a picture of him that you will really appreciate, if I can dig it out!

Fishnbridge! I HAVE THE SAME KINDA CAT! but shes a fatty and i have 2 tuxito cats, sisters! my cat *Daisy named after the BB GUN* Is 2 times bigger than fluffy, her sister...The cat me and bridge have her name is lucky, lucky to still be alive, because shes a nastey cat and attacks everyone...Till i kick her right in the butt....Not hard, as if to say,....STOP!

This is Caesar. He came to us when we lived in Base housing in Ft. Walton. We believe he was a "throw away" (ggggrrrr). He Started hanging out across the street and decided that my neighbor would be worthy of his presence, so we took him in. Not long after that, they got orders to Japan, so we took him in. He decided that we met with his approval, so he stayed! hehe We have had him for about 4 years. He continues to tolerate our presence!

Katie is going to be 10 this summer... she's a sweetheart.

We got her at the pound, when she was just a little thing, she was the runt of the litter... 90 pounds today!! Imagine her brothers!! She is Shepard, Akita and Pit Bull... she's a a curly tail, which was a bonus, we didn't see it til she had been from the vet being fixed... when we got her here, that tail came out from between her legs, and curled like a pigs tail!! LOL...

Anyway, she's had 2 ACL surgeries. Last Thurs, she had 2 teeth cut out, the 4th premolars, which are their largest ones. She's doing great, tho!! [img]http://www.myfishingpictures.com/watermark.php?file=500/1230Picture_042.jpg[/img]
