Hey,

I'm with ya on that one. It's not easy to see the reason in any death, but that's where faith comes in again. I hope we all get to go fishing again soon, my rod is collecting dust already, when I do get to go out again, I'll say a quick prayer for roger while I'm out there, even if it's just fishing under a bridge or something. Take care, and get out there and show off that new trolling motor! LOL.

Thanks Mike, I just got home from Roger's service it was beautiful but very sad. I know everything happens for a reason but I guess I'm selfish I don't want any more of my friends or family to suffer. Enough is Enough.

I wish the weather was better I really need to be out on some water fishing that is where I am most relaxed. Rain Rain go away, Shelly needs to get her fishing fixx.

Whoa,

Sorry to hear about that Shelly. I know a lot of things in life don't seem fair,....but that is just really nowhere near fair at all. He was so young, I am glad to hear that he was an organ donor though, so many others may live because of him. Me and Jama will pray for you and the family, and keep you all in our thoughts. What a shame, but God has his reasons even though we can't see what they are right now. Maybe one day he will reveal it all to us, and it will all make sense.

This past week has been rough. My customers Roger and Star were headed to the airport last friday morning and got hit head on by a car than came across the median. Someone who lost control on the wet roads. Roger had been in critical condition and never woke up he lost his fight yesterday when the family decided to take him off life support and donated as many of his organs as they could. Life can be so cruel sometimes, he just turned 34 and had his 6month wedding anniversary saturday. Star and Roger were just starting their fairy tale life and it was cut tragically short. I'm praying for Strength for Star to get thru this horrible time as Roger is home with his maker. RIP Roger.:crying:

they are aiming the freakin thing right at melbourne!
i don't know how much more water we can take. let alone the 100+mph winds that are supposed to tag along with it.

Yea, I'm not looking forward to another 100+ mph storm. I don't know how much more my little wood framed house can handle. We (all of us) can't us the rain that its going to bring as well. The forecast showed that its going to stay south of Cuba and continue into the gulf from there as of the this morning. I hope that it keeps on that westerly track and stay the hell away from us, we need a break from this rain.

I travel quite a bit so the mail gets backed up some times.....Started going through some mail and discovered that I have no home owners insurance!! :unsure: It seems the insurance company did not know where to send the bill to? Nothing like going through a tropical storm with another on the way with no insurance. I've been on the phone for the past few hours trying to straighten this mess out. Hope they reinstate me before Gustav makes his appearance!!

Well, I've got absolutely nothing to report here. The storm must have dropped all its rain on other parts of the State, as the eye sat on top of Panama City for hours, and we might have gotten an inch of rain. As for wind, I don't think I saw anything more than maybe 20 MPH.....I called my Brother-in-law in Montgomery, AL and they were getting hit a lot harder than we did....not that I'm complaining, it just amazes me how these storms work.

Hope everyone is starting to dry out.....

Yeah,yall took the worst of the Rain,Orlando kinda got lucky this go around,we stayed either inside or outside the Rain-Bands for most of it,but we got a taste of it yesterday.....All the rain was adding up,and overnight the road`s all grew lakes on them,so the 6:30am run to work was a bit slower due to playing in the truck :P.........dropped into a few areas that came up to the bottom of the door,but I was on my way to work ;)

Sink-Holes are starting to pop up,and the St. Johns River will flood large area`s around here,.......but the Skeeter`s will be the worst ;)

well as you all know melbourne got the worst of the rain. 25+" of rain.
some kid caught a 5lb bass in the street i heard. hahaha.
the wind wasn't bad though. i think the rain is what got most of us.

Did I say Fay was Whimpy.........I`d like to change that to Impressive.......Just when you think you can turn your back,and blow her off,she just shows us another way she can whip us......2' of water in some spots........and over most of us for 5 days,that alone is Impressive........but I have a feeling it`s not done yet,the back side of this is is full of Lightning :w00t:

Well, we got a ton of rain and flooding to go with it. That storm just won't leave! We ended up with 17 inches of rain. My house is dry but a lot of others here in Brevard have water inside the house. I hope it gets moving and it stops raining.

I was one of those nuts you were laughing at but I'm glad that I was prepared. We had some decent flooding in my hood. I'm happy to report when I woke up this morning that the water is going down and not threatening to come in my house any longer. My power was out but back on and I just have to clean up a bunch of tree limbs. I got lucky and now I will be buying some kind of pump to keep the water from my back porch/yard if more storms decide to come this way.

I'm hoping all my central florida friends start to dry out real soon.:D

Thanks. we havent gotten anything but winds and rain. It looks like its going to go to the Atlantic and then turn back and hit us again. Hopefully no one gets hurt or anything gets damaged. Stay safe, have fun fishing when you can git out!

I like this one......got a half day off at work,got about 1/4 of this Gallon of Painkiller in me so far.....well,kinda....Bones can`t do Citrus,so I used Grape Juice instead of OJ.....but it`s working just fine;)

We are getting alot of needed rain in the feeder bands with some gusts to plus 40kts. The storm isn't as strong as it could have developed into and we still have power in Jensen Beach. A tornado did touch down in West Palm Beach overnight and I was up watching the reports. No injuries but a good amount of damage in the area, we are fine here.

The pool is good and full and the sauna will be brutal when the sun returns.

Brings back memories Tom:crying: I lost 8 trees during the hurricanes of 04' By the looks of the reports this morning its not going to be near as bad as they thought, now it looks like a big thunder storm.

Ya'll stay safe and what watch out while driving around after the storm. That's when most of the injuries happen.
