I'm allowed to bring a guest out fishing and I'm sure I can get an extra kayak if you need to borrow one. It's my favorite place to fish; in fact, I was fishing the day Blair filmed "Space coast tails" on the east side! :)

RE: Dixie Crossroads

I`ll be using mine very soon, been awhile sence I`ve been over to the Crossroads to Pig-Out,and like you,I`d rather be doing some Damage on a bucket of Crab Leg`s,but a big platter of Rock Shrimp comes in at a close second ;)

It might not be very interesting for you,but I haven`t been over on KSC property sence 1970,when my Dad and Grandfather worked over there, got a few old pics of my father holding me on top of some of the old gantrees they used back then, but never took the Tour, never was very interested in that place until they started the Shuttle Program, and I started fishing that area on a regular basis. As much as I hate doing the Tourist Thing,I`m looking foward to this KSC Tour :D

Thanks Again for the STS-123 Endeavour Coin,I have it sitting out on a table with a few other things that I`ve picked up from out there.......It`s a very cool piece :D

Dixie Crossroads

I was fortunate enough to win a couple of items during raffle night at the recent Mogan Mania. One of the items was a Dixie Crossroads gift certificate so I took my mom there last night for dinner and we enjoyed some rock shrimp but was quite surprised with the price of the "all ya can eat rock shrimp". When I first moved to Florida, rock shrimp were selling for 79 cents a pound, last night, are you ready for this???

$44.99 for all ya can eat rock shrimp :w00t:

Rock shrimp are great but I don't think they are 44.99 great! I'll stick with the all ya can eat stone crab claws for 32.00 at Ballyhoo's resturant in south Key Largo!!
