it was an awsome time . the excitement and the antisapation and the concerned look on the guys faces . i was just about on the dege of my seat as they brought blairs covered fish to the scales . as they removed the top and revieled one fish , i gasped , this was going to be close i thought . and with 3 lbs to spare blair and travis took it . WAY TO GO GUY !!!!!!!!!!! THATS HOW ITS DONE !!!!!! And it was great to meet blairs father and the rest of the family and to see all who was there!!!

I don't know which was worse, working for 8 hours before the weigh-in and watching the weather go down hill, wondering how the guys were doing, or having to leave and go back to work for another 4 hours knowing that there was one heck of party going on (aside from the 150,000 bikers here for Thunder Beach).

I have to admit, Blair had me worried....the man has a good "poker face". I get to the weigh-in and immediately see Cari, she says that all Blair will say is that he's on his way. They arrive and he comes over with a blacked out fish bag that looks pretty small compared to the others, and acting very nervous, later I found out that the bag looked small 'cause there was no water in it... yet. I'm pretty sure that between the motorcycles rumbling by, I could also hear Travis' heart thumping nervously as well.

While I'm waiting for the video to upload, here are a few still shots from the day......all taken after the tourney.....

The last 2 weeks have been a blast, and it couldn't have ended on a higher note. I am happiest for Travis, after talking with him Thursday, I had an idea how much a 1st Place win would mean to him......Congrats guys, you did it!.....and in grand style, with 3 lbs, 13 oz to spare.
