hey chum head how did it go my friend ? i havent heard from trimtab or you . im trying to be on the sight a bit more . i was trippin out when i heard you were going to be using your boat for the show . then the suburban gets wacked as trimtab was getting out of the truck . he called me to get the door to open and close the night you guys were leaving !!! i wasnt even going and i was freaking out about the trip :D. hahahahhaa well give me a shout and let me know how it went !!!ttyl

I plan to be there all three days......but don't bother making any ornaments for my head.....no hair to attach them to!

I got quite a shock at work yesterday. I answered the phone, and was greeted with "chumhead......this is Blair!". Long story short....it looks like I might be running my boat as the camera boat for a show he is shooting over in Apalachicola this week (this was an offer I just couldn't pass up). I just finished clearing all my memory cards and charging my camera batteries... if everything works out right, I should have a post for 'ya in a couple of days.

To say I'm even more excited would be a drastic understatement!

Well, as luck would have it, one of my assistants beat me to it and is leaving on vacation that Thursday. I should still be off Friday, and at worst should still be able to make the weigh-in on Thursday and Saturday (work is only 10 minutes away).

I'm planning to hit the water a couple of times before then to see if I can add to the confusion of local information......I also have a neighbor that is a redfish guide, so hopefully he might be willing to divulge a little info I could pass along.

I will try to get in touch with someone later this week (I have inventory at my store on Tuesday) and see if there is anything I can do to help (other than stay out of the way).

I've got an AF Visor......2 AF hats, an AF Hook & Tackle fishing shirt and about 20 assorted AF and Mogan Mania shirts......Now I just have to decide what to wear! lol....

Yeah......I'm a little excited as well.

The new schedule is up, and I am scheduled to work that day, but I have already begged and pleaded to switch days. I told them what it was for and where I would be.

I mentioned that I couldn't exactly develop a headache, because if I happened to show up on the news.......well, that would be bad!

For all I know, I will be job hunting by then, anyway. They are going to be scowling at me any day now for "asserting my displeasure" a few days ago! :w00t:

WOW! Just went over to the FLW site to check up on Blairs adventures in the Lone Star State and saw the FLW Redfish tour will be in PCB May 1-3. I'm marking the calendar for days off when I get to work this afternoon!

Guess I'm going to have to get out and do some scouting!!!

Can't wait to see you guys....Mogan Mania is still too far off, so maybe this will hold me over 'til Aug 1st!
