in the 'ol days ('97) me and i dad would always catch about 6 mangrove snapper and grill them up on our boat b4 every fishing trip..good times

Gotta be coho or sockeye salmon cooked on the beach over a campfire about three minutes after you catch em...

but yeah, flounder and grouper down here have to top the list...

I will take your advice :) But not right away since they are out of season I dont feel like paying a fine and losing my equiptment. But it sure is tempting....

Am I the only one here who really likes salmon?

I have yet to eat snook. I catch keepers all the time in my back canal but for some reason after reading about how they are becoming more scarce. I feel bad if I were to take one home.

I'm really surprised i didnt seee more Snook mentioned up there. Yes, i have tried hogfish, it is a great standard flaky white fish, but generally pretty mild and undistinguishable in the flavor category. I cant believe no one has mentioned TUNA!!!!! ....and i dont mean the kind out of the can either!

HMMM, I think I just like fish...... One of my favorites used to be mudfish...... Mom would clean them, lay 'em on a board, spicke 'em up and bake them on the grill. When they were done she would throw the mudfish away, and we'd eat the board. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
