They are lycra sleeves that you slip over your stripping finger, and they are only around 4 bucks. They are thin enough to still feel the line, but will stop line burns.... Granted i did go wading two full days in a row with nothing but a fly rod, but should this be happening? I look down at my white line yesterday and realize its a bit pink, one look at my bloody hand and i knew something was wrong. Today i can barely use my right hand! I see people using gloves on their right hand but figured they were just for grip.
