Cannot added anything else to this. This is a great club and you should try to attend one of the meeting and fish outting aka goomba gatherings, you do not have to be a member to attend either one.

Just wanted to add my two cents on this club. It REALLY is a GREAT bunch of people who have a REALLY great time!!! Hope to see some new AF faces at one of these meetings soon!!! :)

Kayak Club in St. Pete

I know there's a couple of paddlers in the area that might be interested if they don't know about this already.

B.A.C.K. (Bay Area Canoe & Kayak club) holds their meetings every 3rd Tuesday at Bill Jackson's on US 19. Meetings start at 7pm and run til 9. The weekend after the meetings they usually hold a "Gumba Gathering" where everyone (member or not) gathers for a day of kayak fishing and a shore lunch complete with grills, can-o-pees, and adult beverages. Its a great group of paddlers for newbies and the experienced alike to share stories and experiences. At this month's meeting, Erick Bachnik from MirrOLure will be speaking. Anyone is welcome to attend free of charge, fees will apply if you become a member.
