Um, Cody, I've fished NUMEROUS kayak tourny's in this canoe. Heck, I've actually even won a few. The thing about kayak tournaments is you have to use a PADDLE craft and a canoe qualifies, but it's okay. No problem.

Yeah don't get a sit inside they suck i tried to take one fishing once and could barly move around so i tried to get out and wade and i couldn't get out with out flipping the thing

It's not a kayak it's a canoe but it's awesome for one person and for fishing. I see that someone posted about a sit-inside.... if you want this kayak for fishing you definitely DON'T want a sit inside. If you don't like the canoe and you definitely want a kayak and you want it for fishing at least make sure you get a sit on top. Go over to Paddle-Fishing.com and check out the classified section on the forums. Lot's of good deals on used boats and what not. I have a GREAT solo canoe listed on there too. It's an Old Towne Pack solo canoe. It's rigged with anchor trolley and wade line on both sides and has a great seat. Been a great little fishing machine for me weighing in at about 33 lbs!! Easy to load/unload and manuever. I've been able to stand and fish from it with no problem too! I've used it with a small trolling motor for a while and just decided it was easier just to paddle. Oh,yeah... I'll throw in the paddle and seat too. There are pics over on paddle fishing... check it out and let me know what you think. I'm located in Pinellas Park so if you're in NPR, we're not too far. You can have it for less than $700!!

ody, if you dont mind can u tell me wut u find?? im looking for a kayak myself but im pretty sure mine DEF has to be WAY under 700$$ lol, but ya let me know wut u find if u dont mind?!

i have two wilderness kayaks pretty nice mine aren't really meant for fishing, just got one rod holder but they still work pretty sure they were under $400 great for just paddling(I'm not much of a kayak fishermen)
