I love this lure in the rootbeer and gold glitter with black back. I like the heavier head too as already mentioned. The effectiveness of this lure is enhanced by how hard it thumps the bottom, it attracts the fish. I use it on mud or sand bottom. It can be aggrevating in grass because it burries fast, but that is when you use the DOA shrimp.

they r really easy to fish. just throw it under overhanging mangroves and bouce it on the bottom. great for snook, trout, and reds

work it really slow on the bottom and pop it up just a little then let it sink back down and set for a second or two then pop it again repeat

wow, nice job on that red. I have to admit I'm kinda surprised they just don't look like a lure that fish would slurp up, You obviously prooved me wrong, I'll have to try them out.;)

doa terroreyez works well for redfish and snook. And believe it or not i've caught a bunch of huge bass on them as well. i like the root beer colored one. all i do is just bounce it off the bottom. it has great action to it.

Here is a picture of yours truly and a 27" redfish that was caught and released using a DOA Terroreyz - # 369 Pearl with Greenback while jigging a local bridge at night.

If a fish will take a jig along the bottom, it will hit a terroreyz.

I've had friends take them up north and catch smallmouth bass and stripers on them! They will work on a variety of fish.

is it good for fish other than snook, because we don't have snook up here in Beaufort, South Carolina. Although I have heard of people catching them in Murrells Inlet because it is so open to the Ocean.

I fish this lure for snook all the time and it works extremely well and can be adapted for other species.

The head weights are 1/8, 1/4, and 3/8 oz. Go with the least amount of weight for the situation your fishing in. The lure can be hopped/jigged off the bottom or when fishing in a current, just cast out and allow it to sweep with the current along the bottom without jigging it at all. Just let the lure do the work and you take up the slack line till you feel the "thump"! The lure will vibrate back and forth and this movement will draw strikes. Cast up current and let it sweep back cross current and this should work for you.

The DOA DVD has many of the techniques on how to fish a particular DOA lure in many different situations. I highly recommend getting a copy and viewing it. You can apply the techniques demonstated for your particular fishing situation.

The 3/8 oz head is required in order to fish a very heavy current since it allows the lure to sink and stay close to the bottom which is where you want it for snook, red drum, and spotted seatrout. For other applications, the 1/8 oz and the 1/4 oz should be fine especially in water less than 4'. When you jig or hop the lure off the bottom, the puff of sand or mud that is created will also get noticed and this will many times draw a reaction strike!

well a great way of fishing the terroreyez is throwing it under mangroves and just hoping across the bottom slowly add some crab flavored lunker sauce to it to it helps the fish find and pick it up faster and do the same thing for bridges to snook love them;)

I just ordered the doa mogan kit that they sell on the site and I saw it comes with some terroreyez. I live in South Carolina and nobody uses them here. As a matter of a fact most people here don't even use lures exept for paddletails on a jighead, and plastics under a poppin' cork. But I fish lures exclusivly and would like to know how to work this lure and what it would be good for. Honestly it doesn't look very convincing, but I hear a lot of good things... PLEASE HELP
