Just cast it out and let it drift through productive areas. Let the shrimp sink to the bottom and pop it out of the holes or grass then let it fall again. The fish are keying in on the flash created when you pop the lure!
The seatrout in my area and in Fort Pierce / Jensen Beach / Stuart areas are just crushing this lure:

Good Fishing!

KT

RE: spotted seatrout

where at? id just stay put or drift and cast to the potholes with the Rootbeer Gulp! Sounds like a good spot to hold trout, but no way to guarantee big fish. I can tell you right now here in St. Petersburg 4'-6' deep grass is holding tons of trout. Fishing last week in Ft. Pierce the big fish were in 1'-3', caught 6 over 5lbs and 1 about 8lbs. Give your spot a shot at different times of the year and see which water temp concentrates the bigger fish there. Good Luck.

RE: spotted seatrout

Sounds like a good spot, try a mirromullet or a mirrodine.

spotted seatrout

I found this grass flat and next to that is about a five foot drop off does any one know if the big gators sit in the deep hole or the grass.and what are some good artifishal baits to catch them with. Please help. Thanks Guys!
