Dooood, you are asking all these questions about fishing and you are wanting to get sponsored??????

People who get sponsored have fished for many many years and usually win hige statewide tourneys and or are professional guides.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to be sponsored but just spend time on the water and get alot of experience first. Never give up even when you think they are not biting, find out how when and where they are biting at all times.

Being sponsored is not as easy as you may think. It means more than just getting some free stickers or initial product discounts.

Have fun and learn somethin while you are out there.

I once had a bad day of fishing, but it was still great!

You have to prove that you know how to fish. Big fishing companies are not going to sponsor some random kid that has never fished in a tournament before. You have to prove that you are good by fishing tournaments and consistently placing in the money or in the top 15 or 10.

Good answers guys.

It is all about reputation. If people know you not just locally but statewide, then you got a shot. You gotta win big time tourneys too and not just a few local ones.

To get companies to sponsor you, you have to be a big time user and master of their product. Such as an engine, a certain lure company, a certain boat etc. If you are trying to do everything and use everything, you won't get sponsored by anything.
