| Hello.
I live in western Broward County, and the lakes here are full of peacocks (you can eyeball them all the time, along with oscars, tilapia, and largemouth bass).
I am wondering which lures would be effective.
I know that top waters fished fast should do the job.
But what about deeper areas? Would DOA cal jigs with a shad tail work well? If so, do you burn them fast like the topwaters?
Also, what about DOA terroreyes? Again, would you burn those fast or let them bounce off the bottom and jig them up like you do with seatrout?
I assume spoons would not work very well. But maybe I am wrong. Also, what about crappie jigs? Too small?
Thanks alot.
Kevin. |

I live in Weston (please don't hate me!!). For those of you who don't live in Broward, you can insert the name of your least favorite snooty town here. Kevin. |
