ponce inlet fishing has been on fire over the past 3 weeks with lots of reds on the ocen side of the jetties and snapper on the inlet side.

yes 4 reds but there was 5 of us fishing off the jetties

caught 7/10/08 out going tide, hurricane has sea's rough and really cold.               in the pic. above what is that silver fish??? i dont no.

back to back cast, both caught on majora.

my gf's first red 24in.

well boys thats my report of the week. in the past 3 weeks i have made 6 trips both on a boat and on the jetties and have gotten reds galore along with lots of snapper and black drum. Crabs, for reds and drum. squid for snapper.

Live every day like its your last (and that day should be spent fishing)

Yea that probally would have worked but the cold upwelling has brought with it a bunch of sharks. They have been killing the pinfish. So all the reds have been on crabs. My buddy went up their and said the snook are finally in with decent #'s. Ill make another trip soon and post some more pics.

Although I bow to and don't dispute fish4reds I.D. I can't tell on my monitor if it's a big grunt( which are great to eat) or a porgie. I'd have to have a better look.

And nice mangos by the way. One of my favortie fish to catch, nearly rod-ripping out of your hand.

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.
