This weekend I was fishing with Capt. Joel Brandenburg with the Anabanana fishing company and I caught a 150 pound, 6ft blacktip shark on 15# power pro. That stuff really works. It took 3 hours to bring in using a small snook rod and reel, it ran 3 miles, and the line was fraying because it kept going under the boat and the line got caught on screws on the gunnel, but I got the fish. You should give it a try and you will be surprised by its strength.

I know, but I think mine is more impressive because it was on a bass fishing rod, and about 30# leader, on a 2000 sabalos reel, while on a 24 ft boat

thats a nice shark and i agree with you its harder on lighter tackle i was just posting to state your point of how strong pp is and how there are other stories of catching fish way larger than the breaking strenght as in your cause and the florida sportsman mag story of how the line breaking strenght pulls in fish well over 10 times its breaking strenght
