I won't bore y'all with a lot of drawn out details. I will say though I have never been more inspired in my life. I also noticed what could be the single greatest change of my life in a mere week. I can't really describe the change that took place, but it is one of those things that you notice about yourself that no one else would notice. Also, recently a lot of people told me that I should get into politics and I simply just laughed it off. After this week I am strongly considering it...

For those of you who don't know about Boys State...It is a one week leadership program where you set up the government of the "51st state"...It is the exact same government as the state of Florida, but the state is named "Boys State." You start at the city level and elect all city officials. Once that is finished you tackle the county level and then the state level. Even creating all the cabinet positions for the Governor and the Senate and the House of Representatives.

While there I was privelaged enough to actually work in the Capitol in the House and the Senate...We went to the Supreme Court, the old Capitol, and also witnessed Governor Bush actually sign a bill into law. I STRONGLY STRONGLY encourage any one out there to push their kids (they have a girls state also) to attend this program if they get the chance.
