I was very close to my father and miss him very much . . . I am truly thankful for everything he taught me and shared with me, thankful for when he was stern and unbendable, grateful for the things he made me do in order to teach me a lesson (even if I didn't understand at the time), and most of all thankful for the unconditional love and understanding he had for my sister and I.   

Happy Father's Day to all the dads in our AF family!!  I hope you know how very valuable you are!
