| | I hear ya on having a waterproof camera ! Three of mine got dunked in a canoeing trip gone bad, lol. I had 2 cannon cameras that were awesome but i can't remember what the other one was. That Pentax looks great though, I just might have to get one, espicially with my luck. |

| | I think every camera shoud be water proof NOT water resistant , I have a great water proof camara, but it's a 35 mm. but it's a good 35mm. cannon! You can take it like 5oft. down. Thanks for the link, us fishermen need sturdier stuff. Mike :o)

| | Hey Mike, What Canon camera do you have? I wish Canon would get on the stick and start making a newly designed digital waterproof camera. I really like the Canon cameras I have now but would not take them on the water since I'd ruin them if they got wet! I like my Canon S 5IS as it is as close as you can get without being an SLR and not having to pay for interchangeable lenses. A digital SLR will probably be my next camera but I know I'll have to shell out some big bucks for a high quality digital SLR plus a few different lenses for it. To me, it seems like Pentax and Olympus are way ahead of the other manufacturers on producing easy to use - point and shoot waterproof digital cameras for fishermen, hunters, snow boarders, skiers, and all types of outdoors people. For digital SLR's especially on the high end professional side, I think Nikon is tough to beat from the pics that I've seen but then again (not waterproof)! Tight Lines, KT

| | Hey Ken, as I said it's a 35mm (not digital, but takes breathtaking pics!) It's the Canon sureshot WP-1. with canon lense 32mm. 1:3.5 Believe it or not it was one I got from Marlboro when I used to smoke LOL. It was like the most expensive thing in their catalog. It has flash, timer, all the things the same exact camera being sold in camera shops has, it is the same exact model. I can't tell ya how many times that thing has gone overboard, but floated right back to the top. I even got where I no longer paniced when it went overboard LOL. The newer digital cameras are so touchy, we need tough, rugid stuff! Mike :o)
