| | Hey guys! Something Stuart did not mentioned in the above post is that Holly is his 13 year old daughter who along with her twin sister Hope has been fighting Syringomyelia since they were two years old. Something that caught my attention more than just giving a donation to this charity was that Holly herself started the Help Holly foundation, not for herself but to help find a cure for everyone who suffers from this terrible disease. I got the chance to meet Hope & Holly recently and they are both as polite, smart and as genuine as can be. You all know how much Travis and his twins mean to me, I couldn't imagine being the parent of twins with such horrible medical troubles. My heart and prayers go out to all parents like this everywhere. If you are in the Melbourne area this weekend store by and shop for a great cause! Cari |

| | We hope you have a great turn out, it sounds like it will be very BIG!! Cari, thanks for posting, with your endorsement it will grab even more attention to their cause. I only wish we could get up there and get to meet such great kids and the parents that are supporting them. Maybe those of us who live further away can all help in other ways. Nice website too guys. let us know how it turns out, I'm sure awareness is a HUGE thing, so we'll do our part to spread the word and your website. Hang in there Mike & Jama

| Well, what a weekend! Altogether, we took in $2774.55 over the weekend. We had pre-sold raffle tickets and donations were made to ASAP in honor of Holly which totaled $1257. That makes Holly’s total for this event $4031.55 Yes, she made her goal of $4000 for this event! Best of all, we met several people struggling to find answers and looking for information on the disorder, and we were able to direct them to the right places and resources so hopefully they can get the help they need! And, the Mason’s have invited us back next year! Holly has also been invited to speak to their group this October about the disorder. This was only possible because of the support of our friends and community. We had wonderful items to sell because of so many people’s generosity, both giving away their items and the baked goodies. We couldn’t have pulled this off without the help of all of our volunteers and sponsors! So, we told you it took 18 trips to get all the stuff there, and that did not include the 4 people who showed up Sat morning with 4 more car loads! Coming back, it took only 7 loads, but we still have some really nice items and so we will post some signs and try and raise some more money in the coming weekends here at our house. After that all of the remainder will be donated to another charity, as it is every year. Thank you all! The Pattersons’
