| Max is a rescue beagle that has been with us for two weeks. He and Mason have settled in as best friends now and we have fallen in love with him ourselves. He’s adjusted to the new surroundings and has begun to figure out how we do things around here on the Dirty Dog Ranch. (Mason is also a great teacher and has taken him under his wing to show him the ropes.)

| What a great shot of Max in the grass. He has that infamous Beagle impish look, thinking ok, what can I get into next. He is going to be great fun for you...looks like a great example of the breed also.
DAVE Is it time yet?????? |

| | Congrats guys! ... We've got a new one too!!!

Here's Misty saying goodbye a few days ago...
His name hasn't been totally decided yet, but 1st choice is Buddy, second is Mogan, Third is scooter (thats what he does right now when he tries to run on the wood floors, it's pretty funny!) For those of you who know Mistly, he is from her mother crossed with a chocolate lab. He's gonna be pretty good size I think. B |

| | Seeing Max brought back instant memories of rabbit hunting with my dad and grandfather in West Virginia. I was just 6 or 7. Grandpa's beagle was named Molly. When Molly jumped a rabbit they would tell me to stand right there where the rabbit jumped from and that Molly would bring it back to me. Little did I know that a rabbit by nature runs in a circle, directly back to where it started. I thought it was magic. Thanks for the memory. I worked a little bit of my Magic on Max. Enjoy! Chris
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters. |
