| | Condolences from all of us here. All of us with animals have had or will come to the crossroads at some point. They aren't here as long but they give it all while they are with us as we give to them, a fair exchange. Sue and I raised a Rott from a 5 week old pup to a ripe old age of 11.5 years. An awesome family member who I held in my arms as he was given his last shot. Mr Chubbs knew Sue and I were with him that morning in the comfort of his home and I felt his spirit circle my heart and pass thru me on his way to Heaven. I choke up alittle even now when I think of it..... A VERY sprirtual and emotional experience we all go thru. Karl,Sue and Karla |

| | Sorry to hear about your loss, when you have one since it was a pup makes it even harder, and it doesn't matter if it's a pet rat or a loved one, a friend is a friend and a loss is a loss. He was lucky to have a mom like you, hang in there. Mike & Jama

| | Sorry to hear the news...... my condolences for your loss. Lucky was a part of the AF family and will be missed. You couldn't help but smile when you saw him. Hope he shakes up Dog heaven and says hi to my black lab Coke when he meets her! RIP Lucky. Tight Lines,

| | Trice, I know that the loss of a pet can hurt but all those good memories will be with you for life. Being a pet lover, I'm sure you'll have new pet experiences/memories to ease the pain and to share with others. Joe |

| | Thanks everyone . . . I know that we have a lot of pet lovers here in the AF family and your thoughts and words mean a lot. We're doing better . . . my heart still hurts a bit but I am relieved at the same time. Lucky was such a gift and it's hard to let him go but I would never want him to continue suffering and promised him I wouldn't be selfish. He's in a much better place for sure. Mason’s was a little bored now without Lucky and a bored beagle is a beagle looking for trouble!! Sooooo, I just brought Max home with me today. Max is a rescue from the Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue organization - he's 5 years old and so far he's a hit. It appears that Max didn't have the best of beginnings (where ever he started from) but the McCabes will soon show him what unconditional love is all about! Earlier today, both he and Mason were pooped and plopped on either side of me at my desk - now, that's true happiness! We'll have both our boys at Mogan Mania to introduce to our "extended family."
I’ve got to go into my Vet’s tomorrow to pick up Lucky’s ashes and will bring Max in with me to meet everyone there. Dr. Sullivan has been a big part of our family and can’t wait for her to meet him. I'll keep you posted on how the two are doing together and will post some pics as soon as we start taking them. We'll all still getting to know one another and Max is getting to learn the ropes here on the Dirty Dog Ranch. You all ROCK and I thank you for being such great people! Trice |

| | Oh, thank you KenT . . . what a nice little surprise this morning. Lucky was such a cool dude!! We're getting on just fine and learning all about our new guy Max. Max is a good guy too, we're all getting to know each other and he's learning to trust us. It's definitely evident that Max did not have a loving beginning but he'll soon learn that around here life is good! Have a great day everyone and give your pets a squeeze! Trice |
