I own a 16ft. alm. rivit Sea nymph, this boat leaks, I tried 4200, silicone, and I am getting ready to paint the underside with that roll on bed liner. before i weld myself to the bottom of this thing, any suggestions?

Other than welding a patch on the inside of the deck, I dunno. If you are who I think you are, I would like to say hello Vince.

just a little frustrated and looking for some insight or just another point of view. the next thing i am doing is to roll on some of the bedliner stuff. good thing i have a great sump pump.lol (i carry a spare in the dry storage). probibly around 60 to 70 gal an hour. 1250 sump pump takes care of it in no time. and yes i am me. vince@hooked-up.net

Haven't been able to log in again until this huge thunderstorm just came over. Don't know why, but first try and I got in. I wanted to say welcome aboard. This is a great group on here. That bedliner might be hard on the knees when landing a fish. Don't be a stranger. Hope this weekend is productive for you.

If you have a Leak, putting something on the Inside of you boat won`t help much

Flip it Upside Down, sand down the Rivit`s and Seam`s,then Fiberglass over these area`s.....Then Paint inside and out with a Good Oil Base....that should last ya a year or two. I have a 14' Johnboat myself, and because of all the Sand-Bar`s and Island`s I drag it up on,I have to do it every Winter

Unless you have a friend that can weld Aluminum !
